From the grounds of our own home, we offer exclusive venue rental for your special event. Our home has always been a gathering place for family and friends. We moved to Seaman House in 2006, but have been part of the local community for more than 30 years. The house itself was built in 1857 and is made of granite quarried from the property.

Beautiful in all seasons, The Barn is nestled against a natural granite waterfall at the edge of the woods, overlooking our gardens and pond. Restored and decorated with reclaimed materials and rustic features, The Barn accommodates 100 people seated across two levels, with plenty of additional space outside.

As a family of builders, gardeners and hospitality professionals it came naturally that we converted the 100-year old barn to provide ourselves with more space to host parties, and since then it has become a hub for shindigs, big and small.

We recently hosted our 3-day corporate retreat at the Rockport Barn, with some of our group staying at the Farmhouse, and it was truly a 5-star experience. The barn was the perfect setting—both inside and out—for our sessions: spacious, well-equipped, and full of rustic charm, with stunning outdoor space to enjoy. The farmhouse accommodations were cozy, comfortable, and ideal for unwinding after a full day. Erich and Normand went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt right at home. It was the perfect balance of professionalism and relaxation. A Transformative Retreat Experience at Rockport Barn We just held our corporate retreat at the Rockport Barn over a 3-day period, and every element of the experience was exceptional. The space itself is magical—indoors and out. From the peaceful trails to the crackling fire-pit, from the serene pond to the beautifully kept grounds, everything invited connection, reflection, and creativity. Erich and Norman are the kind of hosts who quietly anticipate every need. A cold drink? It appears. A sun-shade umbrella? It’s there before you ask. A blanket by the bonfire? Already waiting for you. Their attention to detail and genuine care created an environment that felt both luxurious and deeply grounding. The food was truly outstanding. As a team mostly from the GTA, we came to Rockport to collaborate and connect—meal prep wasn’t part of the plan. Luckily, Erich's culinary skill ensured we were nourished with creative, delicious meals throughout. Not a detail was missed. If you're considering a corporate retreat and want a setting that’s as inspiring as it is restorative, you won’t find a better place than the Rockport Barn. Five stars, isn’t enough. We went Feb14/25 for their second seating of 5 course dinner.  The decor was beautiful, the dining  area was full, two lovely gentleman served us. The food was outstanding, the entire room got their meals promptly. They made changes to the menu for those who had special dietary needs. Enjoyed an absolutely fabulous day with friends at The Barn. A lovely hike followed by French Onion Soup by the fire pit. Then we were treated to an amazing homemade vegetarian strudel, scrumptious salad, and cranberry walnut butter tarts with vanilla ice cream in their lovely dining area. Our hosts treated us royally.
